Governor Wike of River State is to sack 13,200 teachers employed by his Predecessor, Governor Amaechi,a resolution passed by the state House of Assembly on Tuesday empower him to sack the board of the state Civil Service .the board member have been accused of breaching the rules and illegally employing worker into the state civil service.
The Chairman of the the commission was invited to the floor of the Assembly for questioning following a petition by aggrieved member of the Public.this invitation of the chairman is viewed as a prelude to the sacking of the commission appointed by Amaechi,
The River state Judiciary commission suffered the same fate, it members were sacked after invitation to the floor for questioning.
Fear has gripped over 13,200 teachers and at least 400 doctors and nurses employed by former Governor Amaechi that they may be shown the way out of service if they fall into the category of workers adjudged to have been wrongly employed.
