Buhari appoints Laolu Akande as Osinbajo spokesperson

                     

US based journalist Laolu Akande has been appointed by Buhari as the spokesperson of vice President Osinbajo,he is to lead the Media and communication unit in the VP's office,his appointment will be among many others to be announced Monday or Tuesday.
Under Buhari's Government, there will be only one Media and Communication office, but appointees will have different role to play.

Mr Akande was in Nigeria to cover the inauguration of Buhari and Osinbajo.
Laolu Akande is a pastor,a former Editor of Sunday Tribune,worked with Guardian,and a founding Staff of NEWSmagazine.
Harassment by Abacha men sent him relocating to the US in 1997.he has interviewed Colin Powell,billionaire,Bill Gate and Donald Trump,he is the only Nigeria Journalist who have interviewed a sitting President,George w Bush.
 Mr. Akande worked with leading American newspapers including the Philadelphia Inquirer, and New York Newsday.He has worked briefly at the United Nations as a press officer and later as advocacy consultant and also an adjunct college professor
