Former boss of defunct Bank PHB was today discharged and Acquitted by a Lagos High Court of N25bn fraud case brought against him by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission,(EFCC).
The EFCC has slammed the former Managing Director of the defunct Bank Mr Atuche alongside his wife and the Chief Financial officer of the Bank Ugo Anyanwu with stealing and conspiracy.
Justice Lateef Lawal-Akapo ruled today that the EFCC failed to prove that the defendant stole money from the bank.
