President Buhari has ordered the dismantling of all Military checkpoint Nationwide,he has directed the Nigerian Police Force to take charge of internal security.
The Permanent Secretary , Ministry of Defence,Alhaji Ismail Aliyu,brief state correspondent that the President directed security chiefs to liaise with the police on taking over Internal security.
He also said the meeting with service Chief today was to give them the opportunity to brief him on the implementation of the decision reached regarding the fight against insurgency.
