The Vice President of Burundi Rufyikiri has fled the country,ahead of National Legislative elections,he reportedly fled because of the recent comment he made over the president third ambition,believing that President Nkurunziza third term is unconstitutional.the vice president felt threatened after the statement.
Burundi has been in chaos since the announcement of President Nkurunziza third term agenda 25th of April.
The UN has reported that about a 100,000 people has fled the country for fear of more violence while human right group said about 70 protesters were killed and 500 wounded during the protest that erupted after the announcement by President Nkurunziza.
