The donation of N70 million by Minister of Petroluem,Diesani Alison-madueke to Bayelsa PDP for the presidential campaign rally has cause fracas to the state PDP chapter.
The state party chairman,received N70m from the minister but only spent N30 million and kept N40 million for himself unknowingly to other party officials.
The party official only became aware when the Minister announced during the rally of the N70m she advanced to the state chapter chairman Mr Inokoba for the presidential rally..
Due to the crisis, the state executive of the PDP hurriedly set up a panel to probe the Chairman for diverting N40 million ,the State Publicity Secretary of the PDP confirms the probe panel set up
According to Premium Times the Panel met hurriedly and suspended the chairman.and a replacement is been search for,
However, the suspended chairman refuse to honor the invitation of the of the panel,but only claimed he disbursed the cash according to the wishes of the donor.
