A man Chidera Alex has been arrested with 15.850kg of cocaine worth N126m at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency yesterday
The substance were said to have been hidden in Make up Brushes,he was arrested on a routine check on an Emirate flight returning from Brazil.
The NDLEA commander at the Abuja Airport said " that the suspect was found with drugs during routine check of passengers on an Emirate flight.
“One Ilo Chidera Alex was arrested with 15.850kg of cocaine concealed inside make-up brushes. The 27 year old suspect, who hails from Enugu State took off from Sao Paulo enroute Dubai to Abuja. The drug was detected during routine check of passengers. Investigation has since commenced and the suspect will be charged to court soon” the commander assured.
The suspect confessed to the crime and said he was stranded in Brazil and resulted to drug trafficking.
