Triple explosion went off close to the National Secondary School in Okrika where the APC Governorship election was taking place,the campaign venue was thrown into chaos as supporter run for safety.
Two hours after the initial explosion the organizer gather the party supporters back, when suddenly as the speaker mounted the stage to speak,sporadic gunfire was heard all over the school field,all the VIP's including the governorship candidate Dakukus Peterside ran for safety and were evacuated from the venue.the gunmen were said to have invaded from the creek in a gunboat,meanwhile a channel TV crew was stabbed and injured
