lagos state Doctors Commerce 3 days warning Strike

              

The Medical Doctors employed by Lagos State Government commenced three days warning strike yesterday Wednesday February 18th
The chairman  Medical Guild Lagos chapter Dr Biyi kufo said they decided on this course because the government refuse to listen after several appeals, ultimatum,and notice from the body without no yield.

"The Guild had been in discussion with the administration on these issues for more than two years, following a strike in April and May, 2012, when the No Work, No Pay policy was applied to members of the Guild, despite the fact that the circular, backing the policy, was written two months after the strike action," the statement read in part.

otheer issue include casualisation of Doctors and the suspension of the training of resident doctors in the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, (LASUTH.

The strike commenced at 8:00 am Wednesday, February 18 to 8:00 am on Saturday, February 21, 2015.
