Ex-Bayelsa Speaker's wife Kidnapped by Gunmen

    

The Wife of Hon Nestor Binabo,former speaker Bayelsa state House of Assembly and former acting Governor was kidnapped by unknown gunmen at Agbaru in the outskirt of the state Capital,Yenagao.

Madam Marta Binabo 48 was abducted at 11.30 am by 5 armed men in Military Uniform in front of the company were she is a director,She was lured out of the company for a talk  and was forced into a awaiting car which drove toward Otuokpoti sand dump water front.
The getaway car was set ablaze and was taken into a waiting speed boat,away into the creeks.


Confirming the Incident by the Bayelsa State Police Public Relation Officer,Asinim Butswat, said: “On June 29, at about 11:30a.m., five unknown gunmen dressed in military camouflage, went to the premises of Seleyibo Multi-Global Co Ltd., at Agbura, in Yenagoa Local Government Area.
“They called the director of the company, one Madam Martha Nestor Binabor, aged 48, outside the company’s gate for a talk.
“They forced her into an ash-coloured Toyota Camry, registration number unknown, chassis number JTDBE32K620105302, and drove to Otuokpoti Sand Dump in Ogbia Local Government Area.
“They set the Toyota Camry ablaze, took the victim into a waiting speedboat and sped off to an unknown destination.”
Bustwat said that the Marine Police, JTF, anti-kidnapping unit have been alerted and a massive manhunt launched to rescue the victim and arrest the abductors.
