Buhari Appoints Brig Gen Boroh as head of Niger Delta Amnesty Programme

                                
President Buhari has appointed Brig Gen Boroh rtd as the Co-ordinator of the Niger Delta Amnesty programme.
His appointment take immediate effect,he takes over the responsibility of former Special Adviser to former president Jonathan who was also the coordinator of the Amnesty programme,Femi Adesina the Presidential Spokeman said.

The appointment of a new Coordinator for the Amnesty Programme is expected to lead to the speedy resolution of recent hitches in its implementation such as the non-payment of outstanding allowances to ex-militants, Mr. Adesina said in a statement.
