The Nigerian Army launch attack on Boko Haram insurgence within the axis of Dikwa and Maiduguri in compliance with the directives of the Chief of Army Staff Major General Buratai,the insurgence where dealt a serious blow destroying vehicles and capturing weapons and Motorcycles used by the group to launch operation, an Operation made successful by joint effort of the Nigerian Airforce.
Some of the items recovered are vehicles heavily laden with Improvised Explosives Devices (IEDs), motorcycles, trucks mounted with Anti-Aircraft Guns, Anti-Aircraft Gun, General Purpose Machine, Gunbox of Anti-Aircraft Gun Ammunition and Rifles, as confirmed by the Army Spokesman Col Sani Usman
