Warri and Portharcourt Refineries has commence preliminary production after a smooth test-run as contain in a statement released by the Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division of NNPC, Mr Ohi Alegbe, in Abuja on Wednesday.
The statement explained that after 9 months Phased rehabilitation by in-house engineer and technicians a sucessful restreaming was done, and the Port Harcourt Refinery will ramp up it operations to 60% capacity of 210,000 barrel per day,while Warri refinery will hit 80% of it 125,000 bpd and will contribute 3.5 million litres of petrol to local refining capacity.
