Telecom Giant MTN Agrees To Pay N1trn Fine to Federal Government

                                 
MTN, the telecom giant in Nigeria has finally agreed to pay a fine of N1.04trn to the Federal Government of Nigeria for failing to comply with directives of the regulatory authority Nigerian Communication Commission.
The NCC said MTN violated the directives to deactivate unregistered SIM,thereby putting National Security at risk.
MTN was a signatory to the regulation but violated the rules.all attempt to lobby the authority has proved abortive
