Senate president Dr Bukola Saraki has directed the Senate Committee on Ethics, Privilege and Public Petition to Investigate the petition filed against the Chairman of the Code Of Conduct Tribunal Justice Danladi Umar.
A petition was written by PDP Senator from Ebonyi State Obinna Ogba alleging Corruption and abuse of office by Justice Umar.
The committee is expected to submit its report in two weeks.
Also the Senate President is standing trial over allegation of false asset declaration and corruption before Justice Umar Danladi's Code of Conduct Tribunal.
