Jonathan Distance Himself From Arm Procurement Deal

Ex President Goodluck Jonathan on Thursday in the US spoke about the current Armed Procurement Scandal facing the former National Security Adviser,NSA,Col Dasuki, saying his Government did not award any contract in the range of $2billion.

“I did not award any $2 billion contract for procurement of weapons” Mr. Jonathan stated categorically querying, “Where did the money come from?” and repeating emphatically that “I did not award a contract of $2billion for procurement of weapons”.
President Buhari has order the arrest of those indicted by a committee setup to look into arms procurement deal, on receiving it interim report that found out that extra-budgetary spending by the Jonathan administration to the tune of N643.8 billion and an additional $2.2 billion in the foreign currency component, all under NSA Sambo Dasuki's management.a claim Dasuki is denying.
