A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja on Friday ordered the Department of State Security, DSS to allow Col Sambo Dasuki Former NSA to travel overseas for medical treatment.
Sambo approached the court as the DSS laid siege to his residence, to enforce its earlier decision of Nov 3 which permits him to travel abroad for treatment.
Justice Ademola insisted that Sambo must be allowed to travel without delay.In his verdict he ruled:“Court order must be obeyed. What is wrong in the defendant travelling and coming back to face trial?
“Only a fit person can stand for trial and investigation. My own orders will not be flouted.
