  This 12.03-carat blue diamond fetched 48.4 million dollars at auction on November 11, 2015, making it the world's most expensive diamond.

Billionaire from Hong kong on Wednesday bought The Blue Moon Diamond for a whooping sum of $48.4m in Geneva Auction for his 7 years old daughter making it the most expensive ever in diamond auction, he renamed it Blue Moon Josephine.
