20,000 Stranded Britons In Egypt To Be Airlifted By Royal Airforce

   Stuck: Anxious passengers stranded in Sharm airport (pictured) say they do not know when they will get home

The airlift of about 20,000 stranded Briton in Egypt begins today as the Russian Jet crash Crisis escalates,two C17 aircraft normally used to airlift troops and military equipment has been on standby to airlift Britons to the safety of Cyprus where civilian carrier will be waiting to take them home.
The Islamic State in a video claimed responsibilty for the Russian jet that crashed killing all 224 passengers on board, all holiday makers returning to Russia from Sharm El Shiekh,Egypt.
The unsafe airspace triggered most airliners to cancel flight in and out of Sharm El Shiekh leaving their passenger stranded.
