Jumbo Virgin Atlantic Jet Make Emergency Landing,Engineers Fixed Landing Gear Upside Down

An investigation into why a Virgin Atlantic flight was forced to make an emergency landing at Gatwick found that engineers installed a part of the landing gear upside down (the part is circled behind the plane's flap)

Virgin Atlantic Jumbo Jet  carrying 447 passengers was force to make emergency landing because engineers fixed a part of the landing gear upside down as investigation found out.
Hero pilot David William landed the plane, after four hours of mid-air ordeal saving lives.
It has now been revealed that the plane's landing gear could not be properly deployed because the 'hydraulic retract actuator' - used to extend and retract the wheels - was 'incorrectly installed'.
The Gatwick to Las Vegas flight reported a technical fault shortly after take-off.
