There is an indication that President buhari and the speaker of the House of Representatives Met on Monday night over the trial of the Senate President Dr Saraki,for his alleged false asset declaration.
According to PUNCH the speaker secured a booking to meet with the president at the Villa as gathered from a source.
The official said, “I am aware that he (speaker) secured a booking to see the President this night. But, this will not be an open meeting just yet. I think he wants to first see Mr. President and inform him about the resolution of the House.
“The President’s mood will determine whether he will go on to mediate in the matter to find a political solution as advised by the House.”
This move came after the House of Representative on Wednesday passed a resolution for the speaker to find a political solution to the current trial Dr sakari is facing
