APC's Chieftain shot dead in Lagos

               

A Gunman suspected to be an assassin shot dead yesterday a Member of  All Progressive Congress APC who is a chieftain,Mr Shaleawa Daramola at Festac Town in Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area, Lagos.
He was in front of the Party Secretariat located at 3rd Avenue, ‘K’ Close, House 12 Festac Town, where members of his party were sharing Sallah gift.


A gunman in his 20's approached him and demanded for money as Daramola went to Inspect his car,he was said to have told the him he has no money thinking he was a begger. The killer,then open fire, four times in his Chest and fleed in a waiting Motorcycle at about 1.12pm but nothing was taken from him.

He was rushed to a Primary health center and later to the Hospital but died on the way.

Area ’E‘ Commander, Mr. Frank Mba, and Festac Divisional Police Officer, Mr. Ifeanyin Owo, were said to have visited the scene,

Spokesman for Lagos State Police Command, Kenneth Nwosu, confirmed the killing, saying the command had commenced investigation.
