Shell Agrees To pay $84million to community for Oil Spill

            
Royal Dutch Shell has agreed to pay residence of Obodo community the sum of $84 million as settlement  for two oil spill that damaged their enviroment and destroyed the ecosystem
Each person of the 15,600 people in the community will get $3300 while the $30 million left will be kept for the community,according to the lawyer who represented the community.
the massive spill which occur 2008 and 2009 destroyed thousands of hectares of mangrove in the controversial Ogoniland
Shell has promised to clean up the bodo creek affected by the spill in the Next few months
