The governorship Candidate of labour party.Delta State,Chief Ogboru said there will be trouble if Feb 28 elections is rigged,
Ogboru while addressing a rally in Ughelli told the people that in the past election have been rigged and manipulated against the peoples will,but not this time,Gods time is the best,and this is the time, he said.
“But we know that God’s time is the best. This is the time set by God,” he said and burst into a local song,
“If Ogboru no win, yawa go dey, if Ogboru no win, yawa go dey,” meaning there will be trouble if Ogboru does not win.
He promised a better government and restoration of the peoples dignity
“We shall start by restoring your dignity and you will no longer be the thrashing floor.
“You will be able to look at them eyeball to eyeball. All Deltans will become winners and will enjoy good schools, good hospitals, better pay. Our roads will be safe again. Our streets and homes will be safe again; criminality of any shape will not be tolerated,
He added that violence, kidnapping and armed robbery have taken over the state because the peoples vote were kidnapped and robbed by the government.“That is why kidnappers are everywhere, kidnapping people because the governor kidnapped their votes,” he said.
