NationalAgency for Food and Drug Administration and Control have siezed 5 containers of fake Viagra at Apapa port lagos,the fake Heragra and ziagra are smuggled into the Nigeria market as remedies for Erectile dysfunction.
The Director general of NAFDAC announced the seizure and the arrest of one suspect, kanayo Onyeabor,the drugs imported can cause headache, heart attack,uncomfortable penile dysfunction and even death,
The content of the containers are as follows
a) Heragra 120 mg tablets in 1, 40ft container
b) Ziagra 120mg tablet in 1, 40ft container
C )Diclofenac 50mg tablet in 1, 40ft container
D) Tramadol 200mg tablet in 1, 40ft container
The DG said that the unregistered Heragra and Ziagra brand of tablet is usually registered in 25mg, 50mg and 100mg, however the fake came in 120mg
Also arrested is one Akintunde Smith for fake Alomo bitter
