President Jonathan Loss May Be Positive For Nigeria - Ex Goldman Sachs Boss

           

The former Chairman of Goldman Sachs Assets Management Jim O'Oneill said in an Interview that if President Jonathan is voted out Feb 14th, it will send  a positive signal to  foreign investors and won,t disturb the Nigeria market,Leadership .
He made reference to the President presiding over the privatization of the power sector,Mr Jim said the President would have done better in his Economic policy,he pointed at the sacking of the Governor of central Bank Sanusi Lamido as a wrong signal, a man who brought a lot of credibility to the Government.

 “If he doesn’t get re-elected, and it’s because of the Nigerian people wanting something different and something better, I think the markets would be happy with that.
“Foreign investors are pretty negative about Nigeria, so I don’t dismiss the possibility that if he lost people actually might react positively,” he stated.
