Nigeria Government Pledge support to Nepal's earthquake Victims
The Federal government has sent it condolence and sympathyon Monday to the people of Nepal for the disaster that claimed over 3000 lives and has pledge to help the victims.
In a messages from President Jonathan through Dr Reuben Abati, the president said Nigerian are deeply sadden by the earthquake that claim several lives and caused severe pains not just for Nepalese alone but to Humanity.
“President Jonathan also assures the Nepalese government of Nigeria’s preparedness to join other sympathetic nations in assisting the people of Nepal to overcome the damage and destruction caused by the earthquake.
“On behalf of the government and people of Nigeria, President Goodluck Jonathan extends sincere condolences to the government and people of Nepal over the loss of thousands of lives in the devastating earthquake,” it said. The message added that Jonathan assured the government and people of Nepal of the deepest sympathy and solidarity of the people of Nigeria as they mourn those who lost their lives to the earthquake.
It added that the FG would be behind the grieving nation as it began the onerous task of rehabilitating survivors and rebuilding affected parts of their country
