The police has arrested a traditional leader at sasaro of Akoko Edo local government of the state on allegation that missing Police rifle was found in his bedroom.
The Incident that lead to the discovery was connected to a member of the community working in a quarry drown in a river,the employers who are foreign expatriate went to the traditional leader to lay the report, the expatriate were attacked by youths of the community with their police escort managing to escape.
The Police reinforced came back to rescue the expatriates in monarch premises, on search of the house, a rifle was found in the traditional rulers bedroom,the gun was said to be a police rifle missing, he was immediately arrested and transferred to Police headquarters in Benin City Edo State.
