Kano bridge collapse claim 7 lives

       

A padestran bridge in Kano that Collaspe on Sunday has claimed seven lives,according to the Police Public Relations Officer ASP Magaji Majiya.
He said the collapse took place around 4.45 pm on Sunday, it fell on a taxi,killing the occupants, the bridge was still under construction.

“The workers at the site had warned motorists not to pass because they were working on the bridge but the driver of the taxi allegedly ignored the warning.

“So, the moment he moved; before he passed, the bridge caved in and collapsed on the vehicle, which led to the death of seven persons,” he said.

The vehicle has been removed and the bodies deposited in a morgue
