The Nigeria Army has retired 31 General from the force between 2014 and April 2015 after 35 years of compulsory service,the 17 Major General and 14 Brigadier General were officially pulled out of the service yesterday.
The retired Generals are Major General TO Umar, Major General SY Audu, Major General KK Kitchener, Major General PJ Isang, Major General HG Aminu, Major General JS Kwabe, Major General FM Airende, Major General BVT Kwaji, Major General JO Nwaogbo, Major General OS Adeosun and Major General A Chukwu among others.
Others are Major General LMK Banjiram, Major general RN Nkado, Major General AE Ajemba, Major General GA Wahab, Major General OA Umahi, Brigadier General CO Idehen, Brig-General AQ Abubakar, TO Osazuwa, IU Babangida, MK Galadanci, OR Ayemoba, and Brig-General LI Lawal.
Further retirees are Brig-General AC Ebenebe, Brig-General CO Ilouga, Brig-General RO Bamiboye, Brig-General AA Awotoye, Brig-General S Abdulhameed and Brig-General EI Ogundana.
