
The Economic and Financial Crime Commission disclosed to the Court yesterday how the ex NSA Col Dasuki spent Diverted N32 bn money meant for Arms Purchase in buying property in the UK and Dubai, during a bail application the accused filed.
The EFCC Counsel Rotimi Jacobs told Justice Baba that Dasuki approved the order to transfer huge sum of Money meant for Arms purchase to private companies and Individuals while opposing the bail application of Dasuki.
The commission’s counter-affidavit also read, “That our investigation also revealed that the applicant transferred large sums of monies outside Nigeria and he acquired several assets in Dubai and London with these funds.”
Dasuki, alongside Salisu and Senior Special Assistant to former President Goodluck Jonathan on Domestic Affairs, Waripamowei Dudafa, were arraigned on a 19 count charge.
