Breaking! Swiss Police arrest 6 FIFA Boss and Vice President for $65million Bribe

FIFA executives arrested in Switzerland face extradition to US over corruption charges

Six FIFA Executives including the Vice President were arrested by the Swiss Police in an early morning raid at the hotel they are living in Zurich,they were arrested for a bribe they took totaling £60m over the past 25 years
About a dozen plain cloth Police arrived  Baur au Lac hotel this morning unannounced around 6am before  storming the rooms the FIFA executives were staying,they were lead away through the back entrance with some of the official covering their face with bedsheets.

The most Prominent among was the vice President of FIFA,Jeff Webb who was been tipped by blatter to take over as President.others are Eugenio Figueredo, the Uruguayan football executive,Worawi Makud of Thailand,regarded as one of the biggest rogue in FIFA for his run-ins with English football Association,Eduardio Li, President of the Costa Rica Football association and Jack Warner.
The New York Times reports that 14 officials have been charge on US Indictment but Swiss authority say 6 official were arrested.

Other suspects are Julio Rocha, Costas Takkas, Rafael Esquivel, José Maria Marin and Nicolás Leoz.Authorities also charged José Margulies as an intermediary who facilitated illegal payments.Charges are expected to be brought against other officials who were intermediary in the illegal payment facilitation, Alejandro Burzaco, Aaron Davidson, Hugo Jinkis and Mariano Jinkis. been part of them.

The alleged bribes are linked to commercial deals, including media, marketing, and sponsorship rights, for soccer tournaments in the United States and Latin America, which amount to £65m  centred around the 'acceptance of bribes and kick-backs between the 1990's and Today

The arrest came ahead of FIFA congress which holds on Friday

Jeffrey Webb
FIFA vice-president and president of CONCACAF. 
The 50-year-old was born and lives in the Cayman Islands and is the Cayman Islands Football Association president.
Previously been hailed by Sepp Blatter as the potential successor to the position of FIFA president.
Eugenio Figueredo
Former footballer and now Uruguayan FA executive. 
A former president of CONMEBOL, the South American football federation.
Jack Warner
Former FIFA vice-president and president of CONCACAF from Trinidad and Tobago until he resigned from all his positions in international football in 2011.
Eduardo Li 
President of the Costa Rican Football Association.
Julio Rocha
President of the Nicaraguan Football Federation.  
Jose Maria Marin 
Vice-president of the Brazil Football Federation and its former president. 
The CBF were the football organisation who handed out controversial £16,000 Parmigiani watches at their congress in Sao Paulo a year ago when Marin was chief of the association. 
Costas Takkas
A former general secretary of the Cayman Islands Football Association.
Rafael Esquivel 
President of the Venezuelan Football Federation since 1988.
Nicolas Leoz 
Former CONMEBOL president between 1986 and 2013. 
He allegedly wanted the FA Cup named after him in exchange for a vote for England in their attempts to host the 2018 World Cup.
