The World first successful penis transplant was carried out in south African on a 21 years old boy who lost his penis in a botched circumcision, the man was 18 years old and sexually active when he lost his penis.
According to the South African surgeons the operation took 9 hours and the patient can urinate and is again sexually active,The operation was carried out by Surgeon from Stellenbosch University and Tygerberg Hospital in Cape Town using a penis from a deceased donor,the operation enable the man regain all the function in the newly transplanted organ,the identity of the man is undisclosed.
