The Defence headquarters in a tweet said that Gwazo, the headqurters of Boko Haram caliphate has been captured today morning,it also stated that mopping up operations is currently under way
"Troops this morning captured Gwoza destroying the headquaters of the terrorists self-styled caliphate"
Gwazo is one of the last three towns held by the group.
