An 18 years old girl kafayat Olawale has been arrested by the police in lagos for stabbing a man,Ojo Ijabike 32 to death for attempting to rape her.
According to Punch the deceased tried to forcefully have sex with Kafayat who resisted him,which led to a scuffle between them,when she stabbed the victim around the heart region,the noise between them eventually attracted the attention of the Landlord who broke down the door and met the duo in a pool of blood,they were rushed to the hospital, were the victim died
According to investigation the suspect was lured into the victims room to come for a phone charger he bought for her,with a different motive, the boyfriend of the girl confirmed that the deceased has no relationship with Kafayat but has been spoiling her with gift which he frown at,
The boss of the suspect account also stated that "Ojo (Ijabike) bought her a phone and she brought it to the office that morning. He called her and said he forgot the charger at home, that she should come over to pick it.
“It was the charger she went to pick when he locked the door against her and wanted to sleep with her.”
Police source said that the girl was stabbed six times.
The Police Public Relation officer Kenneth Nwosu confirmed the incident,adding that Investigation is on going.
