Governor Aregbesola explain why he couldn't Pay workers salaries for five months

               

Gov Aregbesola of Osun state excepted in public his inability to pay workers for the past five months,he open up at the 7th Colloquium marking Tinubu 63rd birthday in Lagos.
he blame this situation on dwindling federal Government allocation, he said he found it difficult now to pay his bill,he said the federal allocation has reduced to 40% since 2013.
He reveals borrowing  N12 billion from banks to pay salaries, but the Banks will not grant more loans.
Federal allocation to Osun state was initially N4.6 billion and has been reduced to N2.6 billion, according to the Gov Aregbesola, the monthly bill of Osun is N3.6 billion,leaving the state on a deficit of N1.6 billion.
Osun has the largest number of civil servants next to Lagos state
