Minister of Federal Capital territory Mamman Vasta removed his gold watch and requested to be given to his wife moment before he was executed by firing squad for an alleged coup plot against his best friend President Babangida.
Despite plea from people of all works of life, Babangida refused to pardon him, he want on with his execution,according to sources, Vasta execution was an act of personal grudges in previous administration setting,there was no concrete evidence against Vasta,Babangida was his best man when vasta got married.
