The Chief of Army Staff Lt General Kenneth Minimal said yesterday after the security council meeting that there was no sign of the 219 remaining Chibok girl kidnapped by Boko Haram almost a year ago, in the areas that has so far been liberated from the group in the North east.
He said from the mop up operation so far there was sign that the Chibok girls were kept there before been moved,and no information from those questioned suggest that the girls were there because when the terrorist leave,the move with their families .
But he express optimism that they will be found since more area in 3 local government is yet to be liberated .
