President Jonathan in his last minute campaign efforts promised the people of the South East a new state if he is re-elected .
He made this promise at the secretariat of Imo State council of traditional ruler,Owerri, on Tuesday were the royal father received him.
According to him the South East should be the first to get one additional state to a make it equal with other Geo-political zone with 6 states with exception of the North East with 7 states.
Jonathan told the Royal father that his visit is to appeal for support for the next Saturday elections and urge the people to vote for the PDP.
