David Mark ,Aminu Tambuwal and Duputies new home cost N27.1billion

                   


The senate President David mark and the Speaker of the House of Representatives Aminu Tambuwal and their deputies ,Ike Ekweremadu and Emeka Ihedioha new residence under construction in Abuja will cost the federal government a total of N27.1b according to the FCT Minister Bala Mohammed,but they will not move into this house until the completion of the 7th Assemby,Bala said.


 During his 2015 FCT national budget presentation to the House Committee on FCT in Abuja yesterday, Mohammed said that the twin component project awarded to contractors at a total sum of N27.1billion has reached 58 per cent work level and will require a balance of N15.3billion to complete it.

He told the committee that the project specifically has two components which entail the provision of residences for presiding officers of the National Assembly, comprising main building, ADC’s House, Guest House, Staff Quarters, Gate House, Banquet Hall, Chapel, Mosque and Power House.
