Army Liberates Bauchi forest from Boko haram



The soldiers from the  33 Brigade of the Nigeria Army yesterday dislodged Boko Haram from Burr to Lame forest between Ningi and Torri local government area of Bauchi, In the operation a number of terrorist were killed weapons and vehicle were destroyed,some sizable number of arms ammunitions, foodstuffs, motorcycles and IED were recovered according to according to army spokesman Col Sani Usman.
“The recovery include 3 Hilux vehicles, 12 motorcycles, 4 AK-47 rifles, 1 Fabrique Nationale rifle, 1 Small Machine Gun (SMG), 1 Police Teargas pistol, 36 Primed IEDs, 56 rifles magazines, over 500 rounds of 7.62 millimetre ammunition, 6 jerry-cans of groundnut and palm oil and several IED-making materials.”
“Impressed by the professional manner in which this unprecedented feat was achieved, the Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Kenneth Minima commended the troops for a job well done,” the statement said.
