3 French olympic stars, among 10 dead in midair helicopter Crash in Argentina

Two French Olympian were among the 10 people who dead in an Helicopter midair crash in Argentina yesterday,Camilla muffat,25, won gold in 400m women freestyle in swimming at the London 2012 , Alexis vastine 28 an Olympic boxer who won bronze at the Beijing 2008 and Florence Arthaud,58, a were among the sailor were among the dead.


The Olympian died alongside 2 Argentina pilots and five other French citizens who were taking part in a TV show survival,the accident took place in the rugged province of La Rioja near the Andes mountains.the cause of the Midair crash is yet unknown.

                        Ten people, including eight cast members of a French reality TV show and two Argentine pilots, have died after their helicopters collided over a mountain range in La Rioja province yesterday afternoon

                      It is thought that the two craft crashed into one another during filming for a survival show which was taking place just after 5pm local time
