Supreme Court To hear appeal Challenging Jonathan eligibilty Dec 16

             


The Apex court of Nigeria has set Dec 16 to hear an appeal   challenging President Goodluck Jonathan Eligibilty to contest 2015 Presidential election.

The suit instituted by Mr Njoku challenged eligibility of the president haven sworn the oath of office twice,  Umar Ado a PDP chieftain is challenging the Abuja division of the Appeal court for refusing to join him as a party in the appeal filed by Mr Cyril Njoku


Aside President Jonathan, other Respondent include the PDP and The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC
The supreme fixed the date on 16th Dec since Nomination of Candidate end Dec 18.

Mr Njoku has approach Abuja high Court 2012 to stop Jonathan for contesting the 2015 election, but Justice Mudashiru Oniyangi struck out the case on march 1st on ground of lack of jurisdiction
