Coup Attempt Foiled In Gambia
Former State House Commander Lt Col Lamin Sanneh lead a small group of armed men from Senegal and invaded the Presidential palace of President Yahjah Jammeh in banjul and military post in denton bridge, which link the capital to the southern part of the country.
The attack which started 1am local time lasted till early hours of the morning,the leader of the invasion was reported injured, at least 4 armed men have been killed while others have been captured
President Jammeh was away in France according to report during this attempt,several coup attempt have been made against him, he has ruled Gambia for close to 20 years
