A Gas explosion that occurred on Saturday Dec 13 in Arekale road in Akure Ondo State has killed several people and left many injured
According to witness the explosion happened around 7 pm while Gas was been sold and the fire spread to nearby building, engulfing vehicle along the road,many are believed to have died due to late arrival of fire service,but no official figure of the dead
“We just heard a loud explosion and fire coming out of the gas station and we all ran. The fire suddenly engulfed the cars parked along the road and the buildings surrounding it,” a witness told Punch.
