Steve keshi the super eagle coach believed that sacking him won't help reverse the downward trend of the the super eagle
Even as the Eagles fail to qualify for the 2015 AFCON, he still want his job as the coach.
“If a team fails, sacking the coach won’t solve the problem. The authority should look beyond the coach to find solutions to the problem,” sl10.ng quoted Keshi as saying on Friday.
“I can’t deny it is a shame that we failed to qualify, on my part I failed the nation but my players took South Africa for granted in a match they need to win.”
Keshi has been working without contract since after the world cup.
