The people of Ogoni vow they will not accept the decision of the party leaders and stakeholders, and urge Governor Ameachi to conduct a primaries
The protester ,mainly youth, march through the Azikiwe road to the main gate of the Government house insisting that choosing Peterside by Ameachi was a betrayal of the Ogoni people
They blocked major points of the East West Road in Eleme local Government Area, chanting war songs, throwing stones, some vehicles were reportedly destroyed
The police intervene shooting sporadically into the air,tear- gas canister was also fired to disperse the crowd
