BURKINA FASO -SANKARA BODY TO BE EXAMINED

      


The interim President of Burkina Faso Michel kanfado says he will permit investigation to commence on the remains of Former Head of State Thomas Sankara who died in a bloody coup nearly 30 years ago
The interim president said the investigation on Sankara's body will be carried out in the name of "National Reconciliation"

Thomas Sankara was killed under unclear circumstance in 1987 in the coup the brought Blaise Compaore to power,the widow of  Sankara has long been fighting to have a DNA test of the bodies to prove if the remains are his but has been blocked by the court all this years.

Meanwhile ,Blaise compaore, who fled Burkina Faso as a result of massive and violent protest to Cote d ivoire has fled to Morocco a few day ago.
