Prof Wole Soyinka ,Nobel laureate reveal on Tuesday at the June 12 cultural center at Abeokuta Ogun State that he was diagnose with cancer last year.
He said, he decided to open up to create awareness about the disease so people could take preventive measures or seek prompt medical treatment
Prof Soyinka said he survived the silent killer disease because of early detection, treatment and good dieting,he added that he realise that the family have a history of the disease
but he never disclosed the nature of cancer he was treated for
