Two Undergraduate Arrested For Killing a Nigerian Woman From America On Holiday In Enugu

                           
Operatives of the Anti-Kidnapping Unit of the Enugu State police command have arrested  two undergraduates of one of the universities in  the south-east state for allegedly murdering a woman that came back from America after a vacation.

A statement from the spokesman of the command, Ebere Amaraizu, identified the suspects as  James Okoh and Victor Uchenna Okefie.
Amaraizu disclosed that  both undergraduates were already helping the operatives of the anti kidnap unit of the command  in their investigations.
He averred that the victim, identified as Mrs Stella Uhuo, had on the November 14,2015,  informed James Okoh, a final year  sociology  student and a native of Amata in Afikpo local government area of Ebonyi State that she would be arriving  Enugu airport from America.
According to Amaraizu,  “He suspects  had known the deceased  for  a long time  and usually assist her  in cab activities and other commercial errands.”
The Enugu police spokesman added that the  deceased also appealed to  James whom she had known for  a  long time that he would convey her to Abakiliki to deliver some luggages given to her by some friends in United States of America immediately she arrives Enugu.
Amaraizu further disclosed that along the way,Okoh and Okefie diverted the car to the busy Enugu- Abakiliki expressway and attempted to dispossess the woman of all her belongings inside the car.
According to the Enugu police spokesman, when the victim resisted , she was beaten to death by the duo, adding that the suspects abandoned the lifeless body of their victim and ran away with her belongings.
